About the Founder
I founded NICHI-EURO CONSULTING to support companies navigating the practical and cultural realities of doing business between Japan and Europe, with a focus on building relationships that are effective, durable, and mutually beneficial.
My professional background includes direct experience in diplomacy and cross-border engagement, where discretion, clarity, and judgment are essential. Serving as a Consul required operating across political, legal, and human dimensions, often in complex or sensitive situations. This environment shaped my approach to negotiation and problem-solving, placing long-term trust and reliability above short-term outcomes.
I lived in Japan for over twelve years, including more than six years as a student at Waseda University. This long-term immersion has given me a deep, practical understanding of Japanese and European business cultures and how they differ in communication, decision-making, and expectations. Today, I draw on this experience to help clients conduct negotiations more smoothly and establish partnerships designed to endure beyond a single transaction.
